What is M-stores

M-stores is a mobile and web application, that helps people in sales business to run, manage, control and track their stock, sales, profit and expenses. It is the most convenient way of managing small to medium scale businesses by providing an easier way of tracking their status of business and helping them to make the right decision and plans for the business.

How to join M-stores

  • 1. Go to play store in your phone, search M-Stores, download and install the application for app
  • 2. Click here for web
  • 3. Click on any link in this website (Get App and Web)
  • How to create M-Stores account
  • i. Launch the m-stores app or the website.
  • ii. Register to m-stores by entering your name, phone number, email and password.
  • iii. An email confirmation code will be sent to you email, and you will be required to input it to validate your email for security and reports purpose.
  • iv. After verifying your email, you will be prompted to login using your email and password created.
  • v. If credentials are correct, you will be directed to a page to validate your phone number. A code will be sent to your phone number that you registered with, or you the number you will enter by tapping edit phone number.
  • vi. After successfully verifying your phone number, you will be directed to another page to create your shop. You will be required to enter the shop name, select the shop category and select the location of the shop. You are allowed to create more than one shop. If you create more than one shop, you will be required to select the shop to use. This will be selecting the shop to use for that time only or use the shop always. if you select use "This time only", every time you open the app you will be required to select a shop to use, if you select "Yes" the shop you have selected will be the default shop, if you need to change the shop to use, you will need to tap on "My shop" at the navigation panel and select a new shop.
  • vii. After selecting the shop to use, you will be directed to your shop dashboard, for security purpose, the app will be closing or app session expiring and a need to login, this will help in your protecting your shop details like profit, sales, stock etc, you will be required to set your m-stores pin, the pin will be used in accessing the app.
  • viii. After setting your pin successfully. Congratulations and welcome to m-stores. You have successfully joined M-stores. All the best in your business. You can noe go through the app, and enjoy your sales and profit rising

What services does M-stores offer?

  • 1. Monitoring tool. On the M-stores dashboard, there is two categories
  • - Details part.
    - Graph part
    Details part is divided into four parts
  • i. Part one represents sales. This will display a single day sales by default. But if you select weekly sales, monthly sales or yearly sales, total sales for the selected period will be displayed here.
  • ii. Part two represents profit. This will display a single day profit by default. But if you select weekly sales, monthly sales or yearly sales, total profit for the selected period will be displayed here.
  • iii. Part three represents stock. This will display available stock for this particular shop.
  • iv. Part one represents expenses. This will display a single day expenses by default. But if you select weekly sales, monthly sales or yearly sales, total expenses for the selected period will be displayed here.
  • - graph part
    Graph part is divided into three parts
  • i.Part one represents sales graph. This will display the bar for each month of the current year by default. This is will be the total monthly sales. There is an option to select a particular year, the graph will display each month bar of the selected year.
  • ii. Part two represents profit graph. This will display the bar for each month of the current year by default. This is will be the total monthly profit. There is an option to select a particular year, the graph will display each month bar of the selected year.
  • iii. Part three represents expenses graph. This will display the bar for each month of the current year by default. This is will be the total monthly expenses. There is an option to select a particular year, the graph will display each month bar of the selected year.
  • 2. Stock management.
  • - This involve adding and removing stock.
  • 3. Sales management.
  • - This involve adding, editing and deleting stock.
  • 4. Expenses management.
  • - This involve adding, editing, view paid, unpaid and partially paid sales, removing stock.
  • 5. Customers management.
  • - This involve adding and removing customers.
  • 6. Employees management.
  • - This involve adding and removing employees.
  • 7. Personal or business budget control.
  • - This involve controlling the money you have for personal use or business use, separate the needs and usage to help in planning and saving.
  • 8. Business Loans.
  • - M-Stores will be providing short term and soft loans to it's clients, to help them grow and boost thir business.
  • 9. Transport
  • - M-stores will be providing transportation of it's clients goods

Shops


How to add shop

  • 1. Go to app dashboard, tap the menu (☰) on top left, you will see My shops menu.
  • 2.Tap on the menu.
  • 3. You will see available shops. At the bottom there is add button. Tap it
  • i. Enter shop name.
  • ii. Select shop category.
  • iii. Enter the shop location, location name will be populated below. Tap the locatio.Enter the shop location, location name will be populated below. Tap the locatio.
  • iv. Tap the proceed button. You have added a shop.

How to remove shop

  • 1.Go to My shops.
  • 2. Your shops will be listed.
  • 3. On the far right, tap the menu (⋮). Tap them.
  • 4. A menu will appear, edit and delete. Tap on edit.
  • 5.A dialog will appear asking you if you are sure to delete the shop. Tap on delete. You have deleted your shop.

How to remove shop

  • 1.Go to My shops.
  • 2. Your shops will be listed.
  • 3. On the far right, tap the menu (⋮). Tap them.
  • 4. A menu will appear, edit and delete. Tap on edit.
  • 5. Edit your shop and tap update. You have edited your shop.

Stock


How to add stock

To add stock, you need to have created product categories and products.

To add product categories

Tap the menu (☰), select product categories,tap the add button at the bottom, enter the product category name and description then tap add.

To add a new product

Tap the menu (☰), select products, tap the add button at the bottom, select the product category, enter the product name, description and the buying price, then tap add button.

To add stock

Tap the menu (☰) and select stock or the stock details at the dashboard, tap add button at the bottom , select the product, enter the quantity available, enter the buying price, select the stocking date, enter the expenses if any tap add button.

How to edit/update/delete stock

Tap the menu (☰) and select stock or the stock details at the dashboard, the list of available stocks will be listed, tap the menu (⋮) icon on the right side of the target stock, a menu will pop up with the three options, Edit stock, Re-stock and Remove stock, select your desired option and then proceed.

Sales


How to add sales

Tap the menu (☰) and select sales or the sales details in the dashboard, tap the add button at the bottom, select the item to sell, enter the quantity to sell, enter the selling price per item, enter sales expenses if any, select a customer if you have already added some, tap the add to basket or mark as paid or add button, enter discount if any and the amount paid, select mode of payment and tap add button. The sale will be listed as paid, partially paid or unpaid depending on your selection or sale type. To get the receipt tap the target sale, the receipt will appear, if you need to share, tap the blue share button.

How to edit/update/delete sales

Tap the menu (☰) and select sales or tap the sales details in the dashboard, tap the menu (...) at the right top of the target sale, a menu will pop up, select your option and proceed.

Expenses


How to add expenses

Tap the menu (☰) and select expenses or tap the expenses details in the dashboard, tap the add button at the bottom, enter the expenses name, description and amount and tap add.

How to edit/update/delete expenses

Tap the menu (☰) and select expenses or tap the expenses details in the dashboard, tap the menu (⋮) at the right of the target expenses a menu will pop up with the options, select your desired options and proceed.

Employees


How to add employee

Tap the menu (☰), select employees tap add button at the bottom, enter employee email, and a link will be sent to their emails to join the shop.

You will receive an email to join the invited shop, download app from playstore, register with the email invited with a list of invited shops will be listed, select the shop to join

How to edit/remove employee

Tap the menu (☰), select employees, tap the menu (⋮) on the right of the target employee, a menu will pop up select your desired option and proceed

Customers


How to add customers

Tap the menu (☰), select customers, tap add button at the bottom, enter customer details, and tap add.

How to edit/delete customer

Tap menu (☰), select customers, tap the menu (⋮) at the right of the target customer, a menu will pop up select your option and proceed.
